He who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result he does not live the rest of his life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

God's will for your life is your sanctification. That you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his or her own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen who do not know God; (1 Thess. 4:3-5)

To be sanctified is to be set apart for the intelligent purpose that God has created you for. Sanctification is becoming more like Jesus. That's what this whole Christian life is about, you know.

Now comes the part where you ...take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Cor 10:5)
Jesus said, "If you love me, you will obey what I command." (John 14:15)

I have been asked, How does one control their thoughts? The answer is: through PRAYER and replacement.

Thoughts may enter your mind, but you don't have to entertain them. Take control. If you don't think you can, call on the name of the Lord. He has promised. You've begun to fight the good fight. Don't give up! You have to realize that God has something greater for your life than the existence you're living now.

Every time we give in to a temptation, even though it may seem small and insignificant to us, we make it easier to give in the next time.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Psalm 145: 13b-19
Remember...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. (Phil. 4:8)

Key to staying free is to join a bible teaching church where you can grow in the knowledge of the Lord.
Don't be intimidated by the church members. We are all in process. Get in that place. Learn. Study. Hear the word of God!
You've got to get to a place where the word is rightly divided, where the bible is taught.

Don't feel out of place, there are many others in the church who are going through the same thing that you are. But, you know this struggle is like heart disease; they call heart disease the silent killer.

There are persons in your congregation who have been through or who are going through but many struggle in silence. Well, guess what y'all? Silence kills! Silence keeps the enemy in camouflage. While everyone is tip-toeing around the church trying to be good Christians, Satan is having a field day with the minds and hearts of those who struggle in silence.

Find a church where the members and ministers are free enough to show you the love of Christ and walk with you through the process. We have listed a few on our resource page. If you are aware of others, You can add it to our resource page.

Contact me, I will be glad to help you on your walk. But, the real help has already been given to you. Christ died for our sins. The sin debt has already been paid. His work is finished.(John 19:30)
He sent the comforter, the Holy Spirit to be with us forever. (John 14:16) He will guide you into all truth.(16:13)

Stop believing Satan's lies.
